Zenith floats above all your applications as a clean, distraction-free countdown timer. Set custom durations with quick presets or a custom picker, choose from system sounds for alerts, and keep track of time without switching between apps.

quick install

Copy and paste in your terminal:

git clone https://github.com/katistix/zenith.git && cd zenith && bash install.sh

Opens as zenith.app in your Applications folder.

why i built this

I needed a simple timer that wouldn't disappear behind other windows when I was doing focused work sessions. Most timer apps either get buried under other applications or come packed with features I don't need.

Zenith does one thing well: it stays visible and counts down without getting in your way. No productivity tracking, no accounts, no complexity - just time.
